Sicily – the name alone evokes a longing for sun, sea and Italian joie de vivre. This is exactly what Madison & Alex experienced with their guests at their three-day wedding at the Tonnara di Scopello one of the most magical places in Europe for a destination wedding.

The Tonnara di Scopello is located directly on the coast, surrounded by turquoise waters and dramatic cliffs. From the very first glance at the historic property with its pink building, you can tell that this is no ordinary wedding venue – it’s pure magic.

The wedding day began in classic style with a relaxed getting ready and a first glass of champagne. The weather? Fantastic – just as it has to be in Sicily. The wedding ceremony took place in the romantic courtyard of the Tonnara di Scopello. Surrounded by old stone walls, olive trees and the gentle sound of the waves, Madison & Alex said “I do”.
After the emotional ceremony, a champagne reception awaited the guests right by the water. Two violinists in delicate shades of pink played live music while the sun slowly glistened over the sea. It was one of those moments when time seems to stand still.

Dinner by the sea

The dinner set-up was an absolute highlight: two long tables right by the sea, adorned with modern floral decorations, delicate lights and white fabrics – minimalist, elegant and yet full of warmth.

Under fairy lights and a clear Sicilian night sky, the guests enjoyed a Mediterranean menu, accompanied by fine wines and countless toasts to the happy couple.

Party night in the “Cave” – the ultimate wedding rave

After dinner, the night turned into day. First a live band played, then it was on to the legendary “Party Cave ” – a natural cave on the grounds that was transformed into an energetic club atmosphere.

With a techno DJ, colorful lights and guests dancing until the early hours of the morning, this part of the wedding felt more like a festival – an unforgettable end to a perfect celebration.
